Trail Building – Group Q

Friday, July 5

|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 12:00 am

Our two oldest groups have the awesome opportunity to be stewards of the parkland we use all summer long. Campers will be constructing and restoring actual trails in Sterling Forest and Harriman State Park that will be used for generations to come! Digging in the dirt, moving rocks, and learning about the engineering techniques behind trail building, they will be led and mentored by members of the New York/New Jersey Trail Conference Conservation Corps. See “What to Bring” on the left. We will email parents in advance of the hike if there are any changes to this list.
