Additional Summer Offerings
My children couldn’t get enough of the Summer Program so we extended their stay. Did not dissapoint!
Farm & Garden Days
Farm and Garden Days is a small (60 participants), specialized, hands-on farm, garden & nature experience for children ages 5-13. Campers in this hands-on program focus on exploring Duryea Farm and the Pfeiffer Center’s biodynamic gardens on our campus.
Passages is a week-long overnight wilderness experience that provides a nurturing and meaningful rite-of-passage experience for adolescents ages 13-16. This program guides and supports young adult campers through an immersive week of exploring their relationship to self, to community, and to the earth.
Art & Earth
Where fine art and nature unite! Art & Earth is an art & nature-based program for young people ages 9-14 who have a passion for visual art and who find inspiration in nature. Campers in this program learn to work with a variety of art mediums and techniques, including (but not limited to) watercolor, charcoal, and clay.
Music & Movement
Join Nature Place crowd-favorite Mashobane Moruthane for an energizing, upbeat, and rhythmatic week of percussion, dance, storytelling, games, swimming, and more! Designed for campers ages 8-14, this program focuses on traditional African drumming and movement, culminating in an end-of-week performance.
