Paige Hartsell, farm instructor teaching a camper

A long-time farming/gardening educator and a former high school teacher, Paige Hartsell is the Nature Place’s Farm Activity Leader. She is also the Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Threefold Educational Foundation. Paige works to help bring people of all ages and backgrounds into the garden to get their hands in the dirt and their hearts turned towards the earth and each other.

In hopes of better serving the world and understanding the human experience more fully, Paige is excited to be pursuing a dual Masters of Divinity and Masters of Social Work at Union Theological Seminary and Hunter College, respectively. Her program concentrations are Islam and Interreligious Engagement and Community Organizing. In her spare time Paige enjoys hanging out with her family and volunteering with the New York and National chapters of The Poor People’s Campaign.
