Guided Day Hikes

Join Nature Place trip leader, Roger Dubin, for fun, family-friendly excursions in Harriman State Park and other area locales!

Hit the trails with us and meet other outdoor-loving families, learn about local plants and animals, get in some good exercise in the fresh air, and enjoy your packed lunch with a beautiful view. We’ll provide you with further details, including meet-up location when you register.

Ages
As we will be covering some miles, please consider your child(ren)’s hiking capacity before deciding to attend. 

Tuition
$25 per adult
$10 per child

Time
All hikes take place from
10 AM to 2 PM

COVID-19 Safety Protocols
Families hike together, socially distanced from others, and mask when distance cannot be maintained.

March 26th, 2022 | Welcoming Spring Hike @ Torrey Memorial

Kick off the spring season with a hike along the Long Path to Torrey Memorial, where we’ll enjoy sweeping views of Bear Mountain, Popolopen, and Turkey Hill Lake!

April 23rd, 2022 | Earth Day Celebration Hike @ West Mountain

Celebrate Earth Day (the 22nd) with a hike in Harriman! We’ll hike along the Fawn and Timp-Torne trails, through groves of Mountain Laurel and enjoy fantastic views along West Mountain.
