Join Nature Place trip leader, Roger Dubin, for fun, family-friendly excursions in Harriman State Park and other area locales!

Hit the trails with us and meet other outdoor-loving families, learn about local plants and animals, get in some good exercise in the fresh air, and enjoy your packed lunch with a beautiful view. We’ll provide you with further details, including meet-up location when you register.

As we will be covering some miles, please consider your child(ren)’s hiking capacity before deciding to attend. 

$25 per adult
$10 per child

All hikes take place from
10 AM to 2 PM

FULL | March 20th, 2021 – Spring Equinox Hike @ Ramapo Valley County Reservation

Kick off the spring season with a beautiful hike in Mahwah, NJ. Features of this route include a waterfall, lakes, and a vista with a view of New York City!

FULL | April 24th, 2021 – Earth Day Hike @ Jackie Jones Mountain

Celebrate Earth Day (a couple days belated) with a hike in Harriman! We’ll travel along the Suffern – Bear Mountain Trail with a visit to the ORAK ruins and an optional trip up into the Jackie Jones Fire Tower, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Welch and NYC.
