Shannon Collopy is a farmer, teacher, mother and artist.  She has been practicing biodynamics, permaculture, and regenerative agriculture for the past seven years and homesteading for the past 20. When she is not growing vegetables or harvesting berries, or hunting mushrooms in a forest or climbing paw paw trees, she is fermenting vegetables or reading books about berries, mushrooms, and pawpaws and anything else related to farming. She also likes to take photographs, sew, create fiber arts projects, and to take long hikes in nature. Her dream is to own a sheep farm one day in Vermont.  But for now, She lives in Rockland County with her husband, 3 daughters, 3 Black cats, 1 Angora bunny, 9 Hens and 1 Rooster.
